West Show Entertainment 2010
This year the West Show will have a varied mix of entertainment, besides the
traditional tented exhibits to admire and be amazed by and the various animals that
have been lovingly prepared for showing, there will be many other forms of entertainment,
with arena events and side shows to keep the whole family amused and amazed.
Main Arena
Local and overseas entertainment to be advised nearer to the date.
The grand pageant (title to be advised) with up to 100 people in period costume
(Thursday afternoon).
Classic tractor drive (Thursday afternoon).
Meat Draw (beer tent Thursday 6.00 pm)
Show ground and Side stalls, including:
A large funfair.
Tractor driving competition.
Traditional Guernsey evening (Wednesday evening) incorporating the legendary
West Show band.
Dancesport
Demonstration of traditional and modern crafts (Thursday afternoon).
Crown and anchor.
On site catering for many tastes including of course a beer tent.
